A be-mulletted, mustachioed, sleeveless plaid shirt adorning Ross McKelvie threw it back to the 80's and a first-place finish for Lytham at the Halloween Heron's Reach 5k on Thursday night.

Waiting until the 4k mark, McKelvie picked up the pace and kicked hard for home taking the win in 19:21 and knocking 31 seconds off the long 5k's course record.
