On Sunday 6 Lytham runners faced the horrible weather at Irwell 20-mile race near Manchester.  Melanie Koth ran superbly was the first lady to finish the course, and it was 4 minutes before the course had another female finisher, they experienced all four seasons during the race, heavy rain, hailstorm, heavy snowfall and a little bit of sunshine.
