The Lytham ladies team performance shone at the first cross country event of the mid Lancs league season at the GSK sports club, Ulverston.  Although muddy underfoot the weather conditions were near perfect for the variable 6.4K course.  There were 6 ladies representing the club.  First home was Barbara Holmes (30:08) followed by Sue Hawitt (34:14), Claire Markham (34:26), Kirsten Burnett (41:58), Sylvia Gittins (46:12) and Catherine Maclachlan (47:49).  Overall team positions were 18 and 39.
